On Saturday, 13th June 2026, runners from all walks of life will gather at the breathtaking Sigiria Forest, Nairobi, for the 3rd Edition of The Hour Forest Relay Run Challenge — a thrilling mix of fitness, teamwork, strategy, adventure and unforgettable vibes.

EVENT RULES SUMMARY

• Teams consist of 4 runners
• Each relay leg must be completed within 60 minutes
• Teams may support and motivate teammates along the route
• Fair play and sportsmanship are mandatory
• All finishers receive the official 2026 Forest Relay Medal

NUTRITION AND SUPPORT

There will be:

• Water stations
• Nutrition support points
• Race marshals and support crew throughout the event to keep runners energized and safe
• Ample safe parking for vehicles, bicycles and motorbikes

VENUE:-

The Sigiria Forest is part of the large Karura Forest. It uses a separate gate from the more popular Karura Forest. It is Children, Pet & Pram friendly. Food & health drinks will be available at the venue at the Sigiria Coffee Shop at own cost. A pin location for Sigiria Forest will be provided herein before event day.

TIME PLAN:

-Registration 6AM
-Race Briefing & Warm-up 6:50AM
-Team leg Start time 7AM
-Individual Team legs start time 8AM
-The cut-off time 12h00
-Award ceremony 12:15PM

Spectators/Supporters:

No charges for spectators & supporters. But they have to pay their own Forest entry fees directly on event day at the Sigiria Forest gate.

ADDITIONAL GENERAL INFORMATION:

Terms & Conditions :

• You have to be in a team of 4.
• In case you cannot raise a team of 4 persons, please send a WhatsApp message to Fitflex Sportx 0745509949 and we shall do our best to find a suitable team for you.
• Each team to have a team name of their own choice.
• Each team to have a captain who will liaise with Fitflex Sportx Adventures on behalf of his/her team.
• Teams can be of the same gender, mixed gender and varying ages.
• Payments to be made as a team (No individual registration payments will be accepted).
• Slots available for 50 teams.
• All registration is online.
• There will be No Refunds due to rain, lightning or venue rain damage cancellation
• There will be No Transfer of online entries. Contact Fitflex Sportx Adventures to transfer your slot.
• All ages are welcome to participate.
• All racing team members entry + parking fees into Sigiria Forest will be paid by Fitflex Sportx Adventures. You will use the digital image of your race bib (sent to you by Fitflex Sportx before the event date) as your single entry ticket into Sigiria Forest.
• Spectators are welcome too. They pay their own entry fee into Sigiria Forest.
• Registration closes at least 1 week before event date or when. Subject to confirmation before race day, awards will be given after the race is completed by all teams to different competing categories of male, female, mixed teams, oldest & youngest team, the most electrifying team, best dressed up team etc etc. ALL 50 team slots are taken up, whichever comes earlier.
• All bibs will be issued in the last week before the event date by the team captains in coordination with Fitflex Sportx Adventures – NO running bibs issuance will be done at Sigiria Forest Venue on event day.
