Picture the beautiful birds, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, gazelles, impalas, warthogs… and don’t forget the prehistoric site, crocodile centre, museum, and even a chalk manufacturing quarry & factory.
You’ll be amazed by the unbelievable Sleeping Warrior hill views, the welcoming and supportive local community that clearly loves visitors, and of course, the beautiful hotels and lodges waiting to host you.
A major highlight on the 30km race route? The Spring of Maji Moto — a natural hot spring that not only draws tourists from far and wide but also marks the dramatic turning point in the race.
And yes, you’ll want to finish — because the beautiful finisher’s medal is worth every step.

The above fee covers run logistics, bib, hot showers, medal, safe ample parking, KWS Wildlife Sanctuary park fees for the 15km, 21km & 30km runners etc.

Available rates per person (pp) are as follows:
- Bed only – Kshs. 3,750/=
- Bed & Breakfast – Kshs. 4,000/=
- Bed, Breakfast & Lunch – Kshs. 5,000/=
